Last chance: ‘Stories Near the Mountain’

Millicent Rogers Museum’s summer reading program for kids wraps up today (July 29). Called Stories Near the Mountain, the last featured book is ‘Luna, The Mare with the Sky Blue Eyes,’ story by Dora Dillistone of Taos, and paintings by Jonathan Warm Day Coming, of Taos Pueblo.

Up to eight children (each accompanied by an adult) will receive a copy of the book to be read aloud, as well some museum activities. To register, call Karen Chertok, 575-758-2462 or email karen@millicentrogers.org.
