The following is a list of events that occurred in the town of Taos.

OCT. 6

11:08 a.m. Shoplifting, Smith’s Food and Drug Center – Caller said a man tried to cash stolen lottery tickets from another business. 3:08 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Chevron – Caller said a former employee yelled and threw stuff in the store.

4:39 p.m. Larceny, Civic Plaza Drive – Caller said someone walked into her office and stole her work phone, cell phone and credit cards. The caller added that there were surveillance cameras there.

5:13 p.m. Harassment, Herdner Road – Caller said his neighbor blocked his driveway with a four wheeler.

OCT. 7

10:53 a.m. Battery, Mariposa Apartments – Caller said their neighbor had beaten up a man. 7:05 p.m. Shoplifting, Walmart

– Caller said that a man attacked another customer. Caller said that the man stole from the customer while he tackled him to the ground. 7:49 p.m. Traffic accident injury, Talpa Cemetery – Caller said a person’s car was on fire from a crash, and a person was bleeding. 10:18 p.m. Trespassing, Super Save Discount Foods – Caller said a homeless man refused to leave.

OCT. 8

8:03 a.m. Trespassing, Shell – Caller said a man outside had stolen water bottles from the store. 10:27 a.m. Stray animal, Taos Plaza – Caller said there was a kitten stuck in the engine of a white SUV in front of Taos Mercantile. 11:47 a.m. Assault, El Taoseño Restaurant – Caller said a fight broke out in the parking lot. 12:39 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Taos Plaza – Caller said a man singing used profanities. Responders arrived and the man left the area.

10:10 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Subway – Caller said there were two employees fist fighting and hitting each other with brooms.

OCT. 9

12:39 p.m. Larceny, Shell – Caller said a man stole a Red Bull energy drink and some air fresheners.

3:05 p.m. Criminal damage, Walmart – Responders said they were flagged down by a man who said kids threw eggs at his car. 10:55 p.m. Disorderly conduct, Quality Inn – Caller said a woman refused to leave and refused to pay pet fees.

OCT. 10

10:44 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller said a man outside of Mattress Mary’s screamed at the top of his lungs. Responders arrived and the man left the area.

12:02 p.m. Larceny, Donabe – Caller said a gardening wagon was stolen from the back courtyard last night.

3:10 p.m. Stray animal, Gusdorf Place – Caller said her neighbor’s dog ran around and chased her son off his bicycle.

OCT. 11

7:56 a.m. Graffiti, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Responders said a building was tagged with spray paint in two places. They said no other damage could be found and that it must have happened during the weekend.

10:05 a.m. Criminal damage, Tuesday Morning – Caller said someone had shattered windows on the double doors of the store last night.

9:08 p.m. Larceny, Chevron – Caller said a man tried to rob the store and is looking through the windows.
