Ellen P. Tafoya

Age 83, of Talpa passed away on January 05, 2022. She was a loving wife and mother, a great cook and a beloved NY Yankee fan for 70 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfirio “Cisco” Tafoya, son, Rodney A. Tafoya parents, Eloy and Erlinda Pacheco, mother in law, Elisa Tafoya, father in law, Henry Sandoval Sr. (Anselma), sister, Dorothy Martinez, brothers, Eloy “Checkers” Pacheco and Bobby Pacheco, brothers in law, Frank Martinez, Nelson Romero, Ernie Martinez and Paul Chavez, nephew, Clarence Sisneros and niece, Prescilla Martinez. She is survived by her daughter Marlene Ritchie and husband, Todd, grandsons, Angus and Miles Ritchie, brothers and sisters, Alfred Grant (Barbara), Jerry Pacheco Sr. (Geneva), Francis Martinez and Mary Alice Chavez, special cousin like a sister to Ellen, Effie Martinez, special daughter in law, Ivy Velarde, brother in law, Tommy Sandoval (Joanne), Henry Sandoval and spiritual son Antonio (Christina) De Los Santos as well as many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
