FREE COVID VACCINE AND TESTING:

Taos Immigrant Allies is partnering with the New Mexico Department of Health and Premier Medical Group to

host a free COVID vaccination and testing clinic on Saturday (Jan. 15) from 10 a.m to 3

p.m. at 202 Chamisa Road in the Juan I. Gonzales Agricultural Center. Anyone over 12 is welcome and both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available for your first, second or third (booster) dose if it has been five months since your

last COVID immunization. Free drive through community rapid testing will be available the same hours and location while supplies last. No ID, insurance or SSN required. For questions, call 575-770-0133.

THE TAOS COUNTY DEMOCRATS

will be collecting signatures for various Democratic candidates on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their

FILM PRIZE JUNIOR NEW MEXICO

is hosting a virtual workshop called “Telling a Story Through Sound: The Art of Film Sound,” on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 12 p.m.

streaming on Beem. Former Skywalker Sound editor Ken Fischer will share the secret ingredients behind classic movies from Star Wars to Jurassic Park. Special guest Gary Rydstrom, seven-time Academy Award winning sound engineer

for films like Saving Private Ryan, Titanic and more, will also be involved. It is free to register and attend, but donations will be accepted. Proceeds go

Due to a staffing shortage, the

RTD BLUE BUS TSV Green route between the Town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley will not operate

PAYS TO HELP STRAYS. Taos Feral Feline Friends, the all-volunteer animal charity, wants to

help you adopt a stray cat. Pays To Help Strays is a free adoption service helping stray cats of Taos County and the Enchanted Circle. Qualified applicants

receive these veterinary benefits: Spay/neuter surgery; all vet-recommended testing; vaccinations for rabies, and deadly viral diseases FVRCP and FELV. To be eligible, the adopter must contact TFFF within 60 days, or in advance, of the adoption. Cats from shelters, pet stores or breeders are ineligible for this

CAT AND DOG SPAY/NEUTER, VACCINE PROGRAM for the town
