Taos County teen missing from San Cristobal

New Mexico State Police is asking for the public’s help in locating Shia Silverhatband, 16, of Taos County, who was last seen around 8 p.m. Thursday night (Sept. 15) in San Cristobal.

Silverhatband is Native American, 5’2” tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white drawstrings, black pants and black shoes. New Mexico State Police said he might have been traveling to Cerro, an unincorporated community a few miles west of NM 522 north of Questa.
