As New Mexico becomes more arid, storing water in our upper watersheds becomes increasingly important, allowing for a longer duration of river flows downstream. This event will highlight the important connection between resilient wetlands and riparian habitat, and the ecosystem services they provide for animal and human communities. The Nature Conservancy is hosting a free, virtual event on September 28. This event is a part of the ongoing Taos Lecture Series, generously supported by the Taos Ski Valley Foundation.
