Non-Objective/Taos

STAFF REPORT

2

03 FINE ART’S bi-annual exhibition benefit in partnership with the Harwood Museum of Art, NonObjective/Taos , is returning this fall.

With a mission to promote regional New Mexico contemporary artists and introduce those who may not be known within the community of Taos, this exhibition features a hand-selected group of invited artists and long-term resident artists who are breaking the boundaries of those who came before. The opening reception will enable you to meet the artists and support the efforts to recognize the importance of non-objective art in Taos.

The artists invited to participate in this exhibition demonstrate a diversity in skill and a range of mediums employed, from painting to photography to sculpture. These artists carry careers from all corners of the nation, and have decided to make regional New Mexico their home.

In cooperation with the Harwood Museum of Art, this exhibition will benefit the museum, with 20 percent of sale proceeds to be donated to the museum to assist with acquisitions of artworks. 203 FineArt and the artists involved in this exhibition extend their support to the Harwood’s ongoing mission to bring art and culture to the Taos community by preserving and collecting artworks inspired by Northern New Mexico. In addition, 203 Fine Art, by organizing this exhibition, is pleased to offer a platform and a commercial venue space for these artists to present to the collecting public in Taos.
