Olympia “Pimpa” Garcia

Age 70, of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, passed away on May 18, 2023 after a two year battle with ovarian cancer. Olympia is preceded in death by her husband Lucio Duran, and Aunt Aurelia Fernandez. She is survived by her parents, Jose Abel Garcia and Grace Garcia, along with her sisters Theresa Garcia (Manuel) and Lina Garcia (Gerald). Her children Shannon Struck, Marcos Struck, and Angela Romero (Billy). Grandchildren, Isabela Martinez, Miquela Struck, Marissa Martinez, Billy Romero and Amadeo Romero. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own children. Anthony Garcia, Gabriel Valenzuela, Shane Apodaca, Alisa Valenzuela and Jacob Valenzuela. Olympia had many extended family members and customers whom she cared for that will deeply miss her. Olympia was active in the Village of Arroyo Seco in which she loved and cared for the past 40 years. Catholic Rosary will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, Funeral Mass and Burial in Arroyo Seco to follow. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
